Egmont's reputation improved from a ranking as number 69 to 41 among the 140 largest companies in Denmark (BNY guld image) during the years I contributed as Group Head of Media Relations. Besides the responsibitlity for Egmont's corporate presence in the media I served as media advisor for Egmont subsidiaries like Nordisk Film, Lindhardt & Ringhof, Egmont Magazines, Norwegian TV 2, the Egmont Foundation and many more. I was part of a communications team that managed a period of years of extreme media interest as 2006-2008 was characterized by: three serious incidents with the Q400-fleet that led to the plane type being withdrawn from the SAS-fleet, numerous employee strikes caused by the need for higher effectiveness and higher productivity in a globalized airline industry, severe problems regarding the airline punctuality at the time caused by low capacity in the improved security control in hub airport… Show more I was part of a communications team that managed a period of years of extreme media interest as 2006-2008 was characterized by: three serious incidents with the Q400-fleet that led to the plane type being withdrawn from the SAS-fleet, numerous employee strikes caused by the need for higher effectiveness and higher productivity in a globalized airline industry, severe problems regarding the airline punctuality at the time caused by low capacity in the improved security control in hub airport Copenhagen as well as internal capacity in SAS.
