Crawling and Searching the interwebs for trends, patterns and insights pertaining to video games, technology, toys, app development and all things Internet.

During my time in Playworks, I was in-charge of their biggest client, SingTel, and tasked to take care of its gaming portal, GX.com.sg. In that time, the team grew from less than 5, to a team of 10 writers, 1 designer and a programmer, without incurring additional HR costs. The Facebook page grew from 500+ to over 20000 users. Traffic to the site also began to show growth.I am responsible for the gaming website's editorial content, engagement of its readers and the building of goodwill between customers of the online store, and the partners that we work with. I lead and mentor a team of freelance writers to keep all content in-line with the editorial standards and tone of the website. Articles such as games/gadgets reviews, features, columnist writing, advertorials and features are all screened by me before being published.Besides the Editorial front, my secondary role is to co-ordinate marketing campaigns. This includes working with partners like game companies, hardware companies(like ASUS, Sony, Alienware and more), and other relevant brands to create symbiotic awareness for all parties.Occasionally, I have also done event planning and management of gaming events with Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong, Namco Bandai, CJ Internet, Take2 and more.
