City Planning Commission:Working on the revisions of the housing chapter of the city's master plan as well as working with the city's Complete Streets initiative and other tasks.Analyzing data, researching short term housing rental policies across the country, understanding challenges specific to New Orleans in terms of Complete Streets and the Short term housing market.

Community Resource Center (New Orleans, La.)

Working with the community outreach director for AARP Louisiana, I gained skills in planning and organizing events, volunteers, and meetings as well as gained a great amount of knowledge in AARP's community initiatives locally and company wide such as Livable Communities and Complete Streets. I was able to work with local organizations dealing with transportation in both New Orleans and Baton Rouge and partake and organize transportation meetings and workshops.
