- Team Management: Oversee approximately 25 employees- Managing end users services for around 20000 users and 4,000 devices.- Financial Responsibilities: Handle budgeting and financial oversight for IT operations.- Higher Education Collaboration: Increase cooperative efforts within the higher education sector in Finland, gradually expanding into Europe.- National Cooperation:-- IT-Laite Tender: Lead joint procurement initiatives with approximately 10 Universities of Applied Sciences.-- Mobile Phones & AV Systems: Direct joint tenders for mobile phones and audiovisual systems among Universities of Applied Sciences.-- Contract Negotiations: Manage national negotiations for Adobe ELA (2013), ETLA (2016), and Microsoft EA contracts, supporting higher education in Finland for multiple years.-- Licensing Coordination: Oversee Lisenssi-TVK, a licensing cooperation among Finnish higher education institutions.-- Workstation Management: Participate in Endpoint-SIG (x-EDUSIG-Workstation Windows), focusing on collaborative management of workstations in higher education.- International Collaboration:-- IT-Friendly Non-Teaching Staff Week at Metropolia (2014, 2015, 2016):-- Ensuring ICT Services Quality: Implement the ICT4U model to align ICT services with the needs of management, staff, teachers, students, and ICT departments.-- Benchmarking ICT Expenses: Conduct BenchIt, a benchmarking project for national higher education institution ICT expenses.-- Maintaining PC Classrooms: Develop and implement strategies for maintaining PC classrooms at Metropolia.
