As a self-motivated spatial planning engineer and geographer with over a decade of experience, I have successfully navigated diverse roles in municipal, governmental, and private sectors. My career journey has honed my leadership and management skills, demonstrated through various high-impact projects. Currently, I serve as an Architect at the Espoo City Planning Department, where I leverage my expertise in IT to drive innovative urban planning solutions.My professional background includes significant tenures as a Planning Specialist in both the Helsinki Urban Environment Division and the Helsinki Public Works Department. These roles have equipped me with a robust understanding of GIS and network planning, enabling me to conduct comprehensive analyses and apply an analytical approach to real-world phenomena. Additionally, my experience as a part-time teacher at Aalto University underscores my commitment to fostering the next generation of urban planners.Academically, I hold a Master of Science in Geography from the University of Helsinki and am currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Spatial Planning and Transportation Engineering at Aalto University. My educational journey is complemented by studies in Organizational Leadership and Psychology, which have enriched my understanding of team dynamics and human behavior. I have also studied in an IT-engineer program and completed project management courses, further broadening my technical and managerial skill set.I am passionate about integrating technology with urban planning to create smart, sustainable, and liveable cities.
