Literally millions of dollars of hardware are running around shops, roadways or the ocean that I and my team have designed, analyzed, prototyped, and supported. Some of it weighing 65 tons, while other parts fit in your hand. Machines with over a thousand parts are common. This goes for metal parts, composite parts, polymers, and combinations thereof.
