Mila Decker is a Senior Software Developer and Team Lead at Leasecake. Importantly, she also helped everyone else around her whenever we had group coding activities, demonstrating not just a knowledge of the material but a willingness to help other people that would make her a great team member anywhere. Occasionally I and the other teaching assistants in the class would joke that she was an extra TA in the class, but that's not much of a stretch. She never missed a class and always put in plenty of hours outside of class to work through the material independently, and she did fantastic work both on her individual homework assignments as well as all of the major projects she was assigned. I’m hoping I can convince her to come back as a teaching assistant for future bootcamp cohorts, and I think she’d be a great contributor to any developer team she joined.
