My role involves managing day to day issues on the production assembly line, reporting back to the management teams and carrying out projects using Japanese lean methodologies on major issues the cell is facing in order to reduce cost of annual production. These cost savings are in the forms of OEE (overall equipment efficiency) and TAL (total absolute loss) and direct labour.This involved providing solutions and support to continuous improvement activities, with a focus on increasing efficiency of the production lines and reducing waste.Responsible for leading manufacturing technical support (Process Engineering, Equipment Commissioning / Installation / Qualification, Process Design) with the objective to support new product introductions and improve new or modified processes and managing changes in Production.
