In this role, I oversee the entire development process, from acquiring sites to obtaining permits and executing go-to-market strategies while overviewing the project P&L (KPIs: Ebit, IRR and NPV). Business development is a key focus, involving proactive identification of project sites and negotiation with landowners. I collaborate with municipal authorities, architects, and engineering firms to obtain the necessary permits. Additionally, I contribute to tender processes, formulate go-to-market strategies, and determine pricing models. Matexi, a leading and financially stable company, operates in Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and Poland, while it is further solidifying its position in the real estate development sector.

Full-time job within the form of a traineeship that covers multiple facets of real estate development. Matexi is known as Belgium's largest residential real estate developer and specializes in neigbourhood developments. This traineeship is divided into a two-phase program that on the one hand focuses on strategic-oriented corporate projects at the HQ in Waregem and on the other hand on project development within a regional setting.

In this listed company, I worked in the finance department. Here, I was responsible for preparing end-of-year files from SAP.
