Job Description:• Provide complete and updated library information services (such as book lending, research materials, etc.) to all library hub clientele• Attended to research needs of internal and external clientele• Check regularly the physical condition of the hub’s collection to identify which materials are in good and bad condition.• Monitor the borrowing and returning of books.• Receive and organize properly new materials.• Plan activities for the celebration of different events (i.e., Buwan ng Wika, Literacy Month, Reading Month, Seminar-Workshop, etc.)• Coordinate with the LRMDS and hub coordinator for the formulation of new plans that focuses on the improvement of reading and comprehension skills of all the students of the entire division.

Serials and Access Librarian – Periodical Section Prepare Cardex for all the Journals and Magazine subscription. Cardex refers to the monitoring sheet of all the newly received materials. This helps track all the records of the subscription. Update and maintain the literature index regularly. Literature index refers to the compilation of all the indexed journals and magazines. It is encoded regularly. A print-out of the Literature index is also necessary since it helps students in doing their research more efficiently. Regularly update the theses collection by shelf-reading, making sure that all the collections were returned. Submit monthly report for the Periodical Section Provides assistance to all students and faculty staff in their research needsE-Resource Librarian Works with publishers and vendors to coordinate trials and resolve issues of licensing, pricing, and access. Manages purchases and renewals for electronic resources. Collaborates with subject selectors to identify and prioritize potential new acquisitions. Develops and initiates implementation of a plan for an e-resources assessment program. Analyzes and disseminates usage data, and prepares reports to assist in timely decision-making about collections. Research and download different articles to disseminate to different colleges of the University.
