Vision Care is a B2B information company and carries leading eye care trade magazines and specialty publications and produces proprietary eye care meetings. Whilst a robust business, Vision Care’s business model and its core market differ from Springer’s. Under my leadership the company transitioned to a stand-alone business and worked with the existing management team on sale to PentaVision LLC and the management team. The sale materialized early 2013.

I joined Key in July 2010 to work with local management to transform and re-position the company post 2010 financial crisis. After a strategic review we decided to sell our textbook program during 2011 and reorganise ourselves around our software & online learning tools which allowed us to invest in new a new technology-infrastructure / roadmap and sales and marketing tools: After 12 months Key was an e-company and sales and profitability were up again for the first time in five years. On August 1, 2012 Key and its technology assets were sold to McGraw Hill Education, a leading US-based education publisher.
