I worked for the Early College High School program in Desoto ISD as a classroom facilitator. The Early College HS works with Cedar Valley College (CVC) to provide low-income or first-generation college students with college level courses with the intent for them to earn their associates degree upon graduation. I managed 4 classes of 15-20 sophomore.

I spent several years as a member of the Air Force National Guard. I worked as an aircraft specialist repairing the structural elements of air crafts. I worked on the C-130 for 4+ years and the F-16 for 3 years which involved knowledge of composites, sheet metal fabrication and welding.

In 2012, UT Arlington created it's first LGBTQA program and Pride Peer team. I was a member of this first pride peer team and the first social events coordinator for the program. In my position I coordinated events that catered to the LGBTQA population and helped build community. Of the events that I coordinated there are several that have become annual.
