I am a senior studying mathematical and computational biology at Harvey Mudd College.My introduction to the world of computational biology came during my freshman year, when I took the core biology course at Mudd. It was there that I discovered how computational tools can be used to analyze and explore topics like human health (such as AIDS), and I quickly fell in love with the idea of doing this work professionally.I believe data and technology are the key to improving healthcare. For me, this field offers endless opportunities to make a significant impact.I’m excited to apply tools like software development, data analytics, machine learning, and data visualization to tackle healthcare challenges.Whether it’s improving patient outcomes or making the healthcare system more efficient, I want to be part of that change.
