At the age of 19, I left for a life-changing journey to the United States where I pursued two degrees in Interior Design and International Business; this decision would go on to define my career path.In the span of 15 to 20 years, I was fortunate to work with some of the most reputable international brands such as Ethan Allen, Porcelanosa and IRP Kitchens & Bath. As a result, my enthusiasm for design and business got more intense while at the same time sharpening my attentiveness to innovation, quality and excellence.My frequent international travels have been a gateway to a world of inspiration, allowing me to traverse the globe and partake in renowned trade shows and events—from Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile, Bologna’s CERSAIE, Valencia’s CEVISAMA in Europe to Chicago's Neocon and North Carolina’s High Point Market in the USA. This exposure has been instrumental in keeping me at the vanguard of design trends, enabling me to infuse my work with a global perspective and cutting-edge insights.Ten years ago, I made the poignant decision to return to my roots in Kenya, where I founded D&D Sourcing; a business idea from a strong wish to make a difference in the interior design terrain, in the Kenyan market. With a commitment to curating an eclectic mix of furnishings that embody unparalleled quality and beauty, D&D Sourcing stands as a symbol for quality in the industry.My passion for interiors has naturally transitioned to a love for green design and sustainability – a philosophy that lies at the core of my work.
