The Last Life Coach is an immersive speculative design science project that imagines a future where artificial intelligence requires emotional support. It centres on Alden Idris, the world's first Digital Emotion Therapist and Life Coach for artificial beings, Creator of the EmoSynergy System™, which guides AI and humanoid robots through emotional complexities.This project combines storytelling, design and futuristic technology to explore the ethical and emotional implications of AI development.Key Highlights:Innovative Concept: Developed Alden Idris, a therapist and life coach helping other AIs navigate emotional challenges, questioning the future emotional landscape of machines.EmoSynergy System: Introduced a speculative system for understanding AI emotions, addressing the deeper possibilities of AI consciousness and well-being.Multimedia Experience: Released the book The Supercomputer with a God Complex, which includes 25 fictional case studies alongside podcasts and interactive digital content.Exploring AI Ethics: The project opens up discussions on AI consciousness, emotions, and ethical dilemmas surrounding AI well-being.Cross-Media Storytelling: Engaged audiences with narrative-driven podcasts, social media content, and speculative case studies, making the project immersive and multidimensional.Expanding Format: A serialised format of The Last Life Coach is set to be released soon, adding to the ongoing exploration of AI emotions and ethics.

The EmoSynergy Lab focuses on the speculative exploration of the boundaries between artificial intelligence and emotional intelligence. Through a creative and interdisciplinary approach, the lab navigates the threshold of a new reality where artificial intelligence can experience emotions beyond human understanding. The aim is not to create this future but to explore the possibilities, implications and opportunities it presents.The EmoSynergy Lab uses speculative design to imagine scenarios in which AI develops emotional capabilities, and to stimulate thought-provoking discussions about the future of AI, ethics and creativity.
