Frankly speaking I am one of the many artists around the world who are trying to make it more colorful, vivacious and happier. And that's why when I graduated from the National School for Fine Arts "Ilia Petrov" specilizing in Graphics, I ran straight in the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. There I had my bachelor's and master's degree in Book and Graphic Design. And I work on my PhD thesis - "Bulgarian illustration in the period 1944-1989". I had the unique chance to be part of the international student exchanges between the Sofia and the Leipzig Academy and my conceptual books to be presented in exhibitions in Bulgaria, Germany, Korea and Israel. I used to work as an art teacher in a school and as a pedagogue with children with different social and medical problems. Also I was a photographer in a magazine for rock/metal music for 10 years, where I had the chance to develop my artistic skills, views and opinion. I have more then 50 illustrated books published in Bulgaria, USA, UK, Norway and Australia and had the chance to work and exchange ideas with publishers, newspapers and websites all over the world. In my very limited spare time I draw for my own pleasure or create authors children books.
