Working on a three-month project as a consultant to the Research Team, advising on the improvement of the company's Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) product.

My main responsibilities included:- Ownership of the company's core content product - a database of 4+ million records of PEPs and other high-risk individuals from 230 countries and territories in the world. - Definition and scoping of new products and internal systems for the Research team; consultation in definition and scoping of client-facing systems - Project management based on agile project management methodologies (Scrum)- Assurance of regulatory compliance per existing and upcoming regulatory requirements- Interpretation of international and country-specific AML/CFT regulations and legislation- Collaboration with Data Science towards bulk data acquisition and automation, data maintenance and data retention- Collaboration with Operations and HR in team training and recruitmentThe highlight of my tenure as Head of Content was the redefinition of the PEP methodology. Under my management, the team took a deep-dive into the AML/CFT regulations of each country, which led to the creation of a legally-defensible PEP methodology. Additionally, I worked closely with the design and dev teams to build the data collection facilities needed to address the methodology changes.

Main responsibilities:- Subscription content product management- EDD product management- Operations & HR - TrainingThe highlight of my tenure as Research Director was the definition and documentation of the company's EDD product and research methodology. I was actively involved in defining the research methodology and designing the different types of EDD report formats from a research and commercial perspective. I was in charge of the team's training into the new methodology and handover of the product's management to a newly-appointed designated EDD product manager. The successful implementation of this project led to my appointment as Head of Content, a product management role focused on the core product - a compliance data subscription database, which, similarly to the EDD product, required a thorough methodological and operational revision.

- Documentation of existing methodologies and processes- Team training into the methodologies and processes- Recruitment & HRThe highlight of my tenure as Team Leader was the redefinition of the adverse media methodology applied to the core content - subscription database of high-risk individuals, including persons subjected to negative media reports. The end result was a more concise methodology focused on financial crime and "money laundering predicate offences", which was backed up by the international standards.
