- Conceptualizes the initial mechanical design of the project and is responsible for the mechanical engineering work.- Manages the design and ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with City, State, and County officials, other outside agencies, and authorities having jurisdiction.- Serves as a liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design team.- Reviews plans, and prepares or reviews technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.- Participates in contract bidding and construction administration.
