I spent a year working within an established North American family office, located in New York City, whilst also studying for my MBA.My main duties were that of performance reporting, analysis and assisting the investment team.Whilst reporting directly to the CIO I gained exposure to asset allocation, portfolio construction, and manager due diligence across all asset classes. The position also gave me the opportunity to work with other departments where I used my IT skills to develop several systems that improved operational efficiencies within the office.
