About Miles Dalrymple
I am a recent MLIS excited and ready to enter the field as a full librarian. I am open to relocating to cities all over much of the country, though I am looking to live in a community that leans progressive. During my time in school, I have developed skills to work with various age and identity groups in multiple capacities, including in readers' advisory, reference services, program planning and execution, collection development, and customer service. I am ready to serve and become a part of any community since I value serving communities on their own terms that take into account specific needs and wants. With curiosity and a dedication to learning from the community and using that to grow, one can serve any community, rather than trying to fit communities into particular approaches. With my desire to serve a diverse community and skills developed through past work experience and my MLIS education, I would love to talk about joining your team or about any advice or leads you may have.
