Medical Technician
CurrentProvide high quality patient care and mobile urgent care services to patients in their homes and facilities to reduce avoidable emergency department visits. Partnered with an Advanced Practice Provider as part of the acute clinical care team service to supply medical care to diverse patient populations with varying levels of acuity across the Denver metro and beyond with a significant Medicare and Medicaid payer base.Perform numerous skills daily including but not limited to: patient assessment, point of care testing, wound care, Abbott iStat blood chemistry, venipuncture, intravenous cannulation, sterile field instrument handling, laboratory sample collections, 12 lead electrocardiography, and splinting/immobilization of peripheral extremities. Directly aid in high risk patient stratification and admission to the Advanced Care hospital at home service.
