● Incorporated React-dnd in order to enable users to use a drag-and-drop feature to populate the canvas, providing a more intuitive user experience and simplifying the UI.● Utilized React hooks (useReducer/useContext) to provide a global state that can be referenced from anywhere within the codebase which eliminates the need for prop-drilling, and simplifying react components by cutting down on space complexity.● Leveraged OAuth route for GitHub, allowing for faster sign-up for users with GitHub accounts, which allows the outsourcing of authentication, enabling a faster development time, and improved security by leveraging a third party’s authentication system.● Used Electron to allow use of the ReacType as a desktop application, giving developers the option to make components without a web browser, as well as implementing a context menu, minimizing constant navigation to use basic features for users.● Utilized TypeScript to handle compile-time error handling to enforce code consistency and cohesiveness throughout our interdependent codebase, and to more easily onboard future engineers.● Employed Material-UI library to import components, speeding up development time, and to provide custom styling to app components and elements to enhance enhance visual aesthetics of our application● Used Express to handle server-side development with RESTful architecture structure, and utilizing the middleware pattern, as well as modularizing the back-end codebase.● Utilized Jest, Supertest, and Enzyme test suite libraries for when React components are created, allowing for more feedback and preemptive bug fixes for the application the user creates.

● Used MongoDB codebase to store log-history, storing the user’s previous transactions and transfers between other users, with the use of a non-relational schema that enables a fast data retrieval and easier onboarding for Javascript developers.● Used React to display log-history on the client-side UI by querying data from database and rendering data into an array of components, allowing users to view previous transactions and transfers between other users, and the ability for the user to write memos.● Used Postgres database to store user profile info with the use of a relational schema which better organized the stored data.
