Directing housekeeping operations and staff, including the coordination between department crews to inspect assigned areas ensuring standards are met. Position involves financial management tasks, which include the setting and adhering to budget and the ordering of materials and supplies. Cost control and department staffing, include scheduled shift coverage, comprising of housekeepers, public area attendants and laundry. With Front Office Manager, help ensure availability of all rooms to sell during PM shift and prior to closing of Housekeeping Office and, with Hotel Controller, working to re-engineer the hotel housekeeping department for maximum productivity.

Greater Seattle Area

Coordinated daily activities of Max Restaurant to better deliver quality products and services to restaurant customers and hotel guests. Trained new restaurant staff and created procedure manuals on service and quality standards and assisted in developing and implementing Emergency Programs of Hotel 5. In addition to Food/Beverage, other responsibilities included assisting in hotel maintenance and engineering. Duties included handling all maintenance and engineering issues, within budgets and time constraints. Worked with Corporate General Manager with the planning and scheduling of hotel renovations, as property transitioned from Ramada Inn to Hotel 5. Built, and replicated, a Hotel 5 guest room mock-up in lobby of Hotel Maxwell during an owner fund-raising event.
