Award winning MD, EP and Producer experienced in both agency and production company landscapes.Starting out my career working in agencies JWT and M&C Saatchi in Business Affairs, I shifted into production when joining Havas and then onto Mullen Lowe, where I made producer in 2009. After a number of years working freelance at agencies like Y&R and W&K I joined AMV at arguably their golden period. I spent 5 brilliant years there making award winning work for global brands with some of the best production partners in the industry.In my final year I became an EP, mentoring younger producers as well as connecting producers and creatives working on other projects with world class directing talent. I realised I LOVED this part of the process; matching scripts with directors. In 2019 I left AMV to help launch the production company Spindle in London, where I joined as a Partner and Executive Producer. I was at the forefront of their growth; contributing as 1 of the 4 owners in all levels of business including sales, marketing, PR, company structure and recruitment, through to running the music video department, pitching and production. I sourced and signed 12 new directors in my 3 years there.Spindle has risen to become a well-regarded, award winning and successful top 20 production company and I look back on that time very fondly.I left in 2022 to spend some more time with my young family. My eldest son has additional health needs, so I took a step back to be more present with him and his younger siblings and to have a better work / life balance. I freelanced for 18 months, working both as a consultant for some production companies, (from white label director scouting through to company structure) and exec producing agency side at Saatchi’s, BBH and The & Partnership. In 2023 I also started a free mentorship program called The Story Club to help underrepresented people get into the advertising and film industries, which I do in my spare time and is incredibly rewarding. To date I have helped over 100 people with free mentorship.That same year i joined Immigrant, a global production company that expanded into the UK. I joined as their MD on a 1-year FTC and left in Sept 2024.I'm currently helping out Thirteen Creative with their ace team of directors and production co's as well as agency EP'ing. I love teamwork, learning from smart and nice people, creatively solving problems of all shapes and sizes, and trying to make my kids laugh.
