Lets try to summarize 25 years of Automotive experience. I started my automotive cars for Langley Toyota. It was a great entrance to the automotive industry. Two years later I got a job with a local Autobody shop, Craftsman Collision as a production assistant. This was the start of a long and valuable career in the Autobody industry. I was ready to take my Collision Estimating skills to the next level and a carear at ICBC started as a full time Collision Damage Estimator. I was appraising damage on anything from compact cars to tractor trailers. I gained a lot of valuable experience and enjoyed the ICBC culture, structure and training. I really enjoyed my time spent on the Hit and Run team determining if damage was self inflicted or third party. With a change in the political climate in BC and having fairly low seniority I felt it was a good time to get back to Autobody shops. As a full Manager with Boyd Autobody at 26 I was making my career goals happen and enjoying every minute of it. I enjoyed the Autobody management experience until 2006 when I became the service managers for one of Western Canada's largest motorcycle and watercraft dealerships Richmond Motorsports. What a great experience that was. Imagine doing service AND warranty on 5 different companies product lines! Great experience to say the least. Summer was busy season and the volume of repairs and service was unbelievable. Sometimes we would have trucks and trailers lined up onto Westmister Hwy trying to get their watercraft and motorcycles ready for that first sunny day. Multitasking in a demanding environment is my specialty. The owner there always said "if you can manage at Richmond Motorsports you can handle anything". So far its true.
