After speaking with hundreds of authors and helping them market their books, I transitioned to helping writers and authors from the beginning of their book idea, all the way through their launch. Consulting more than 2,000 professionals, I helped experts, executives, and entrepreneurs write, publish, and market their books. With a strong emphasis on complex enterprise sales involving multiple stakeholders, I generated $9m in revenue in 2022. As a result, I've ushered hundreds of books into the world and helped authors leverage their book to generate millions of dollars, grow their business, and make an impact. I also maintained the responsibility for managing the writing and author community. I continued to host monthly workshops, record online courses, direct quarterly masterminds, and run the Author Alumni community on LinkedIn.

As I began to take on more responsibility, I was trained by the co-founder to take on his role so he could focus on other efforts. My role was to meet with writers and authors nearing their book publishing date and helping them determine the optimal book launch strategy based on their goals. Combining my marketing expertise with everything I'd come to learn about writing and publishing under the guidance of Tucker Max and Zach Obront, I helped expand our author marketing service offerings which led to a 500% increase in revenue in under one year. Although originally hired for marketing, my role quickly transformed to work alongside co-founder Tucker Max, Charlie Hoehn, and our CMO to develop Scribe Book School, a free online course to help anyone write, publish, and market their book. Responsible for managing and engaging the community, I organized webinars, created and ran private social media groups, and listened closely to understand the wants and needs of writers and authors. To create the best platform to help people write their books demanded intimately understanding writers' needs. By working closely with an expert in the space, Tucker Max, I garnered hundreds of hours of experience learning the dos and don'ts of writing and publishing. Additionally, I attended and helped facilitate more than a dozen Guided Author workshops with Tucker, taking 25 writers through a 3-day course to determine their book idea, overall positioning, and manuscript outline, as well as walking them through everything they should be considering when it comes to publishing, launching, and marketing their book. After each workshop, I helped manage the onlined Guided Author Community where writers shared their book journeys, encouraged one another, and received advice from our team.

Through implementing and then directing the marketing department, I helped grow this startup 627% in 3 years to become one of the fastest growing companies in America – all with less than a $100 monthly marketing budget. From an award-winning blog, to an expansive website, to a strong social presence, to appearing on the front page of Google for hundreds of search terms related to travel, I helped Under30Experiences become the face of millennial travel.
