Miles’ sound has consistently been dubbed - “quirky” thus the fitting moniker “quirk-rock”.  His sound hovers closer to the pop side of the genre fence, though there are always wanderings into some alternative territory that visits rock’s rugged roots and other destinations of indie interest. Drawing influence from some of today’s most unique artists; Vampire Weekend, Beck, Flaming Lips, Dan Mangan, Radiohead, Bon Iver, Awolnation, Miles is continually honing his song-writing in the pursuit of something catchy, quirky, and meaningful.
