I am a software developer with a solid knowledge base on Computer Science. I have great passion in solving problems by coding, which drives me to master programming languages in all levels, from assembly language to JavaScript. I am most interested in high performance computing, machine learning, data visualization and full stack web development.I am proficient in: C++, JavaScript and Python.I am familiar with: C#, SQL, HTML, CSS and assembly language.With profound understanding of computer algorithms, I am skilled in algorithm analysis and design. I am good at developing parallel programs in CUDA for GPU as well as assembly language for CPU, respectively. During my Ph.D. study, I have published two papers on parallel sorting publicly, both are EI indexed. Several months ago, I transplanted a simulation program written in Matlab into CUDA under Linux environment which got a 200X performance boost. I am keen on software development. With the knowledge of the ideas of object-oriented programming as well as design patterns, I can use them in practice fluently. During my Ph.D. study, I was the team leader of a cooperation project in our lab, which is implemented by .Net Framework, Silverlight and SQL Server. I am also proficient in developing full stack applications using React, React-router, Node.js, Express.js, Webpack and MongoDB. I have read through the source code of LevelDB, which makes me understand the architecture of NoSQL databases.I have strong English skills, including reading and writing. I can read various English literatures and documents very fluently.With research capabilities I can solve problems independently as well as with other team mates.I can work under Windows as well as Linux operating systems.
