My photography work has included two self-published books and two self-published zines. I have showcased nationally from as far north as Fairbanks, Alaska, to as south as Key West, Florida. In my seven years of photography experience, I have worn a litany of hats, from sports photographer to tour photographer to street photographer to fine art photographer. As a fine artist, my work has been shown in the following locations: Warren, MI., Fairbanks, Ak., Yakima, WA., Valdosta, GA., Lakewood, CO., Missoula, MT., Lubbock, TX., Kansas City, MO., Monmouth, NJ., Tucson, AZ., Laguna Beach, CA., Boise, ID., Key West, FL., and New Orleans, LA. As a sports photographer, I have photographed for the Universities of Louisiana Monroe and Alaska Fairbanks. My work has been published in several newspapers nationally, including the Fairbanks Daily News Miner.As a music photographer, I have photographed for festivals such as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, the Mid City Bayou Boogaloo, and the Buku Music Festival. Additionally, I have been the tour photographer for Dave Jordan and the NIA on several summer tours. My music imagery has been showcased in Relix Magazine and Offbeat Magazine. As a portrait and event photographer, my work has been showcased in the 25th-anniversary edition of Where Y'Art. As well as Color Bloc Magazine, The Legacy Magazine, The Hand Magazine, and Novum Artis. Beyond magazines, my work has been used in several independently published books, including In Blume by Matthew Draughter and Dave Jordan's album Burning Sage. Additionally, I have received grants for photographic research from Alaska NSF EPSCoR. Nationally, I have one honorable mention in the 2nd Annual Life in Another Light competition put on by Kolari Vision.

As the Instructor of Record at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, I had the privilege of leading the "Basic Digital Photography" course, designed to equip students with fundamental photography skills. Emphasizing manual DSLR camera operation and Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop editing, the curriculum covered a broad spectrum, blending art photography and photojournalism techniques.Creating a dynamic learning environment, we explored essential photography aspects, fostering creative vision, composition, and field techniques. Weekly critiques empowered students to refine their skills and develop a critical eye for their work.A unique feature was student presentations on photography history and renowned photographers, enriching their understanding and inspiring them.The course had clear objectives:Mastery of manual DSLR settings for desired outcomes.Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom for image enhancement.Ability to produce both photojournalistic and art photographs.Students were expected to have basic computer knowledge, focusing on photography rather than computer literacy. Canon DSLR cameras were provided for a level playing field, emphasizing manual settings for deeper comprehension. My role extended beyond technical instruction; I aimed to ignite students' creative potential and deepen their appreciation for photography, equipping them for both artistic and professional success.

Coordinate with the Art department, including but not limited to drawing, painting, photography, ceramics, and more. Fill in for professors where necessary cross-discipline. Specifically, photography classes act as the teacher, running lessons, critiques, and darkroom sessions, including handling photo chemicals- for students in-and-out of the department. Outside of teaching duties, act as glue, modeling for drawing and painting classes, filling in for ceramics, observing interviews, and any general need of the department at large. Responsible for being at each home sporting event, representing 9 Divison II sports and 1 Division I: volleyball, men and women's basketball, record-setting rifle, hockey, women's swimming, men and women's cross country, and men and women's skiing.Outside of game-day duties, act as glue, photographing different athletics events, post-game, promo, and behind-the-scenes. Other responsibilities include editing images, photographing for road teams for road and home Sports Information Directors. Additionally, I have created video for social media, graphics for social media, reels for social media, and written game recaps and previews for the website. I have helped with interview set up and interviews themselves.

Leading, managing, and designing the sports section for a weekly newspaper. Supervised coverage for ULM athletics and leader of the section's design in print. Coordinated the sports beat team and served as the lead sports writer and editor for the weekly newspaper, covering 14 division 1 sports. Covered all sports and sporting events, including games, fundraising events, and other events that the athletic department put on. Managed the rest of the sports beat to make sure all of the important events were covered.Wrote more than 100 published articles, in my two-year stint, for this section and the paper as a wholeOn more than one occasion, coordinated with the athletics program to travel to road events in big stadiums- softball at the University of Houston in 2018, ULM football vs. FSU in Tallahasse, and ULM men's basketball @ Texas A&M.

Coordinated the photography team and served as the lead photographer for the weekly newspaper.-Photographed the majority of the university events from Athletics representing 14 Division I sports, to day to day events happening on campus. Worked closely with the writers to come up with visuals to match the articles.-Managed the rest of the photography staff to make sure all of the important events were covered.-Served this position on the award-winning, best paper in the South as picked by the Southeast Journalism Conference.

In my one semester with the Legacy, I was responsible to photograph a spread of Louisiana culture for the magazine. I chose to photograph and document, Effum Underground in Baton Rouge, Louisiana an iconic tattoo shop that has since burned down.

I was accountable to take care of 12 children in my cabin at a sleep-away camp of New Orleans kids in Wiggins, Mississippi. I and a fellow coach were responsible for watching the kids all day and night, with activities ranging from camping to swimming to basketball and chess. As a coach, we were responsible for running and directing an exploration- similar to that of a teacher. I taught and played chess against the kids.
