I manage renewable energy projects for Native communities and companies seeking to make meaningful change toward their climate goals. I also coordinate our project management office (PMO), developing best practices and tools for the organization.

Family-owned real estate investment group focusing on short term rental properties.

- PM for the solar canopy group, managing custom, commercial design-build solar canopy projects (raised solar racking systems for parking lots and garages).- Helped manage a 10 MW solar canopy installation, where that site is said to be the second largest corporate solar project in the world.- Developed a close relationship with customers through all phases of design, engineering, material processing, and system installation. - Reviewed and commented on design iterations and steered internal processes in the best direction for all parties. - Oversaw project budgets and hired / managed subcontractors for project installation.

I was hired as a Project Engineer and Manager in 2018 to help develop the engineering group. Our two-person engineering team (the Eng. Director and myself) expanded PSARA's design capabilities and moved from quick small-scale work to higher-level civil and environmental projects. 2018 proved to be one of the best years in PSARA's history, and 2019 topped that, with the vast majority of company growth from engineering. My personal contributions included:• Led design for the closure of two large abandoned sewage lagoons for a commercial petroleum supplier in Missouri, with plans for on site pond cleanout and lagoon closure plans for permitting and construction. Made use of a vacant open field on site for clay excavation/hauling for lagoon closure as well as pond sediment placement, eliminating all disposal and importing costs for the client.• Led design and construction oversight for storm water controls and remediation efforts in response to a petroleum spill at a commercial petroleum supplier in West Virginia. Performed site survey, storm water drainage calcs, sized/designed on-site storm water pond expansion while bypassing normal runoff flow pattern. Project entailed designing wastewater treatment plans and obtaining necessary environmental and ODOT permitting.• Served as Project Manager and Engineer for a regulated storm water outfall at a steel manufacturing plant in Ohio. Active role included team H&S and instrumentation training, asset management for existing and future equipment, creating pH probe and transducer calibration schedules to keep the system operating within its permitted pH range, maintaining the health of an acid injection system and managing PLC programming subcontractors.

• Oversaw field activities for multi-million dollar projects and recommend solutions in the areas 
of landfill lining systems, emergency response and groundwater sampling. • Conducted alternative energy feasibility studies for closed sites.• Designed waste facility cap systems using AutoCAD Civil 3D.• Performed design calculations for erosion and sediment control plans.• Coordinated with clients on project goals, timelines and budgets.

• Verified material capability through construction services testing, including soil compaction, bearing capacity, concrete slump and air, and reinforcing steel inspection for public and private sector clients.• Interpreted shop and architectural drawings for relevant design standards.• Corresponded with architects, engineers and project managers daily and based testing on their needs.

• Inspected field soil samples for classification using USCS and AASHTO classification systems.• Summarized geological research and composed technical recommendation reports from my findings.• Assessed quadrangle maps and gathered site-specific soil and location data.
