G’day!I am a visual artist & production designer based in South West England and Melbourne, Australia. My freelance artistic practice includes costume and set designs for theatre, dance and opera productions, as well as working across illustration, painting, sculpture and lecturing at Victorian College of The Arts. I created pieces that are nostalgic, fun and at times pointed.I hold a first class degree in Production (Design Realisation) at the Victorian College of the Arts where she was awarded the Orloff Family Trust Scholarship in 2018. In 2019 I featured as an emerging artist in First Commissions, A Major Australian Art Concept where her sculpture of a hedgehog formed a commentary on the unjust treatment of asylum seekers. In 2021 I had my first solo art exhibition at Brunswick Street Gallery: Straight From The Poolroom where I reworked scenes from iconic films and television across over 80 paintings and sculptures. I have worked with a wide range of Australian companies, including Playable Streets, Gorman, Princess Highway, Polyglot Theatre, Back to Back Theatre, The Listies and Snuff Puppets. Bridget is currently working as the costume designer for Victorian Opera’s A Christmas Carol and the creative producer for Playable Streets.
