Dod Senior Emergency Management Analyst
CurrentServing on senior DoD emergency management team - supporting analytical, administrative, and technical support to Strategic Operations Directorate, and Protection Division, Operations, Readiness, and Mobilization Directorate, Headquarters, Department of the Army, G-3/5/7 (HQDA G-3/5/7). Also provides subject matter expertise in support of Enterprise Mass Warning and Notification (EMWN) requirements, which supports the Secretary of the Army, as the Executive Agent (EA). Support the Homeland Security’s National Response Plan of Integration of Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) - as established under Executive Order 13407; by providing DoD EMWN notification capability to the public, concerning matter relating to impending natural and human-made disasters, and emergency & public safety information. Also offer analyst of DoD’s implementation and integration of geographically targeted cell broadcast technology; corresponding multiple modus operandi and communication pathways such as: Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs), Alert!, AtHoc, Concept of Operations, Base Plan (and linkages), Opt-in Test Messages, peripheral coordinating mechanisms, and Interagency Incident Management Group. Duties also includes monitoring market research requirements for contract and acquisition material proposals; fiscal cost analysis for congressional review; capability analysis; supplemental documentation, interagency coordination, integration methodology, and cyber security support. Facilitating DoD’s EMWN - concentrations, implementations, and deliverables in support of strategic development of policies and protocols; liaison for critical stakeholder and workgroups, and support development of international training exercises, appraisals, and sustainment evaluations.
