Provides administrative and event management support to the small team at WCM during and in the run-up to the Walled City Music Festival. This event comprises five concerts across four venues, ranging from chamber to contemporary and orchestral events.Working will WCM in producing two events as part of its supported event series.The Festival produces an annual audience survey, which forms part of a wider audience development project for the North-West led by Thrive NI. The Event Assistant is responsible for management and production of this element of the festival.Held in July, the WCM International Piano Festival is an 8-day residential event held at Ulster University for outstanding young pianists. The Event Assistant will work with the team in preparation for this event, liaising with student applicants and staff.This Event Assistant fulfills the work placement requirement for the Master of Arts in Arts Management course at Queen's University Belfast.
