Current● Built B2B SaaS healthcare tech web app from greenfield to mature product.● Highly productive, contributed nearly 2x more story points year over year than the second most productive engineer at the company of 18 engineers.● Platform is domain-driven microservices with kafka message bus, with GQL APIs to a React application.● Built secure systems in compliance with HIPAA, SOC2, and withstanding security audits.● Drove the adoption of new automated testing practices (cypress, home built integration testing system).● Insured consistent, aesthetic, and accessible UI/UX as the product grew.● Built systems that work at scale (~500 messages/second).● Mentored team members on code quality/consistency, performance considerations, architecture.● Was the go-to guy for Postgres query expression/performance issues.● Some parts of the platform I built: o Rule-based system creating tasks for users based on events and schedules. o User-configurable system for creating patient visit “episodes”. Rulesets are able to be configured by internal non-technical teams. This system does on the order of 6,000 rule evaluations per second. o Application-wide real time updates. o Email alerts and daily summaries. o End-user reports/dashboards with filtering. o Suites of internal tools for managing data. o Document handling - OCR, parsing-based text extraction, document content searching, integration with ML components. Generating documents from standard data sets.
