Joined the Support Products team to deliver next-generation customer service tools. Designed and architected modern React single page applications (SPAs) that were required to support all Airbnb business units and teams, integrate with external systems (phone, email, etc) and internal services, communicate with REST and GraphQL APIs, while providing high quality code, service, and uptime.Spearheaded the design, development, and release of Lunar (https://github.com/airbnb/lunar), a React UI component library that is used by internal tools, applications, and open source projects. Furthermore, was a member of working groups that pushed forward TypeScript, and the future of CSS styling across Airbnb.During my time on the Web Platform team, I built a system for easily launching and developing internal applications. Powered by Node.js, Docker, and Kubernetes, it offered high performance, metrics, observability, logging, i18n, server-side rendering, and much more.
