Empower developers to deploy code faster using agile methodologies, CI/ CD practices, automation and easy to use reference architectures. Responsible for System Configuration Management and Automation using tools like Chef. Instrument production applications with standard and custom monitoring, logging and alerting. Responsible for building Secure Application infrastructures. Responsible for high availability of applications with growth and capacity while considering cost implications. Maintain governance around use of public cloud services. Design scalable secure application infrastructures. Improve operational practices and gain operational efficiencies. Get constant feedback from the business and application development teams and keep improving processes and methodologies to align with business requirements. Team is also responsible for evangelizing the concepts of DevOps and promoting collaboration across the technology teams. Provide trainings, workshops for engineers, developers and new hires.

Responsible for building technology architecture and solutions for complex business requirements. Build architecture for the Public Cloud (Amazon Web Services) that would integrate well with applications deployed in internal datacenter/ private cloud. Lead projects involving migration of existing applications from internal datacenter to the Cloud. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving network and systems related issues. Responsible for Security of Application infrastructure.

Develop Strategy and Architecture for End User Technology and deliver innovative solutions in the Mobility, Collaboration and Compute space with the end goal of increasing End User Productivity. Develop, maintain and communicate End User Technology Roadmaps and provide solutions to the End Users that can drive Improved User Experience and a better Operational Model. Interact with various Internal Business teams to understand the End User Computing and Mobility requirements and come up with solutions to meet those requirements. Develop solutions, roadmap and strategy for services related to Content Delivery Networks, Remote Application and Data Access, Web & Video Collaboration and Mobile platforms. Develop architecture and solutions for Live Video Encoding and Delivery for WSJ Live platform. Drive cost efficiencies for common externally facing infrastructure services. Participate in IT Risk Management initiatives in line with industry and corporate Audit and Compliance strategies.

Responsible for end to end Performance Monitoring and Capacity Planning for Business-critical Applications, Networks and Systems. Troubleshoot complex performance issues with production applications deployed on various platforms like Java, .NET etc. Implement proactive performance analysis prior to applications being deployed in production and recommend tuning parameters to meet Performance SLAs.

Develop Network design based on Business requirements, present Design to Design Review team, Implement and Verify approved designs. Worked on various networking technologies like Wireless, Load Balancing, WAN Acceleration, Switching, Routing, Firewalls & Proxy servers.

Gained a broad exposure to the editorial systems and processes, worked with the IT Infrastructure and development team to get a thorough grounding on the systems that support editorial processes. Worked on the Unified Wireless Deployment project

Worked on Implementation and Deployment of Metro Ethernet Network for Broadband Solutions, which included configuration and commissioning of Cisco switches. Responsible for planning, installation and troubleshooting of UTSTARCom DLCs (Digital Loop Carrier) for wireline services.Worked on provisioning and end-to-end delivery of telecom products like POTS & Broadband Internet Access for residential customers and Dedicated Internet Access, ISDN BRI/PRI, ADSL, point to point Leased Lines(Framed and Unframed), L2/L3 VPNs for Corporate customers.Responsible for carrying out LOS (Line of Sight) Surveys and O&M activities for Siemens-Alvarion LMDS Wireless Transmission system (Local to Multipoint Distribution System) and MDMS (Marconi Digital Multipoint System).
