Also conduct the Carbon Foot Print study to set the targets for GHG emissions& to develop GHG metrics. • Conducting internal & external energy audit for electrical, thermal & HVAC systems for energy conservation at all K-Group manufacturing plants.• Responsible for developing & maintaining energy & water measurement and monitoring system (MIS)at all manufacturing facilities& buildings. Also to develop monitoring & verification protocols for energy saving project. • Develop & implement policies/ methodologies / guidelines for procurement of energy efficient & sustainable electrical and thermal equipments. • Responsible for procurement of low cost energy resources like Indian Energy Exchange, Wind Power Project. • Develop & maintain the knowledge-sharing platform among the K-Group companies for environment, energy conservation& sustainability best practices and utilities improvement. • Coordinate with Green Technology Cell & integrate energy conservation activities with renewable energy resources. • Maintain & operate the 5.6 MW wind power project &other RE projects. Also provide facilitation for CDM benefits for RE&energy efficiency projects.• Coordination with various Govt. agencies for regulatory compliance like Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), MSEDCL, MERC & state designated agency.• Formation of plant wise ENCON Cell &implement the ENCON action plan/projects through this teams. Also conduct capacity building programs for ENCON teams. • Provide technical assistance and guidance for new projects or extensions in view of reducing the operating cost of various utilities like power, HVAC etc. Show less
