R&D FW Engineer-III at Oppo Health Research Lab.Spearheaded the architecture, system design, development and power optimisation of a standalone ultra-low power medical sensing and health monitoring device with Analog Front End for vital measurements and BLE communication to other devices in the ecosystem.

Developed FW for the latest generation of IEC61508 autonomous safety systems for Amazon's fulfillment centers and robotic fleets.Got hands-on experience with LF radio systems, CAN bus communications, Safety compliant software development, and complex distributed embedded systems. Developed device drivers for I2C, SPI, and CAN devices. Contributed to the development of a shared safety development framework for use as a base layer for safety projects.Designed an Embedded Linux application suite for non-safety tasks like FW OTA upgrades, event streams, and log collection over a CAN network of radio-capable safety nodes.Worked on the complete hardware development lifecycle from requirements to product and maintained and improved projects owned by the team. Worked in on-call rotation for the safety FW team.Contributed to the development of a project agnostic test automation framework for performing periodic functional testing of the safety products portfolio. Performed static analysis and unit testing of developed features.Mentored colleagues and newcomers on safety embedded system software development and testing best practices.

Course Assistant for ECE GY 6843 Real-Time Embedded Systems and EE 4144 Embedded Systems. Headed a team of 8 TAs for ECE GY 6843 Real-Time Embedded Systems and EE 4144 Embedded Systems. • Developed a 2-week course on Internet of Things using the ESP8266 SoC with very little prior experience with IoT. • Conceived the course structure; chose a bottom up approach to build our systems, we start from small building blocks and add them up to get a more functional block. We updated the course daily and added 3D-Printing and PCB Design.• The course was applauded for its pace, selection of topics & projects and interactive sessions.• Designed projects:3D-Printed ESP Weather Station, ESP Tic-Tac-Toe
