>To ensure defects free supply of incoming parts to production line. i.e. ferrous and non- ferrous products, various insulating materials, bought out items i.e. hydraulic, pneumatic products, fittings and fasteners .>To ensure consistency in quality through Green /Red tag system.>Proficient in the use of measuring equipped i.e. calliper, Micrometer, Vanier, height gauge for Stage and final inspection of various fabricated structure and machining components.>Analyse line rejection & in-coming rejection to track repeated issue and address the same with proper CAPA and monitor few batches to check effectiveness of CAPA.>Analyse supplier NCR register and discuss with supplier for identified actions for the reported issue and timely close of the same.>Evolution of Non destructive and Destructive testing techniques for various jobs property conformance as per QAP or Customer requirement.>Raise engineering change request as and when required for continuous Improvement.>Actively involved in development job part i.e. Vacuum job parts .>Assuring regular quality surveillance at supplier site during delivery phase and pre shipment inspection , and also manage corrective quality action regarding issue if any , during supplier site inspection.>Maintain monthly job’s rejection and rework records for vendor assessment.

>Responsible for incoming Raw materials i.e. structure steel material, forgings, casting material, and pipe inspection visually and dimensionally as per purchase order requirement.>Inspection of Forgings, Wooden pattern and Castings product visually and dimensionally as per Drg. dimension at in house as well as vendor place according to purchase order.>Test witness and report review of various Destructive tests such as tensile test, Bend Test, Impact test, Hardness test, chemical analyses, Micro test and maintain report as per approved procedure.>Evaluating NDT Techniques like UT, PT and MPT as per approved procedure or as per client requirement for castings, forgings, plates, weld joints. >Maintain record and Verification of Material test certificate according to relevant standard specification.Co-ordination with purchase, design, store, planning dept. at the time of problem solving and taking corrective action.>Well aware of material specification, MTC review, heat treatment process chart, hardness checking and various DIN, IS, ASTM standard for structure steel, forging, pipes and castings. Preparation of Daily Progress record of incoming Material. Dimension, NDT, Various DT tests and visual inspection with TPI like TUV, TPL, NTPC, BHEL, MACON, and L& T.>Vendor assessment, develop and implement quality system process.
