Leading the Data team.

Leading Upright's company modelling team, which is responsible for the quality and coverage of companies modelled with Upright's data engine. Large share of team's work has been about improving LLM based methods to collect information on products and services the companies sell.

Some of the projects and roles I've worked with: - Product manager: Benchmark product for Prehospital Emergency care. Coordinating the work, planning product development and taking care of customer relations - Data engineer: Benchmark product for Oncology - Database architect, data engineer and BI analyst: VBHC dashboard project- Research analyst, BI analyst: The cost of cancer in Finland - project- Internal development project related to working culture, design driven product development model, PMO for strategic VBHC program etc.

A wrote my thesis which is titled as Framework for evaluating the performance of predictive models in healthcare and social services.

My role included leading the daily work of nine full-time board members and office with 50 employees. I learned a lot about leading, project management, facilitation and self-leadership. I held around 100 board meetings and led the decision making processes. Also, I held weekly office meetings and led strategic development with the management team of the student union. I held monthly development discussions with the board members and more rarely with employees. I took part in recruiting and recruited myself the board members. Also, I was managing our relationships with many stakeholders including management of the university and AYY’s honorary council, and presented the union in many events. I was responsible for the yearly planning process. In the beginning of the year we chose 30 projects and made project plans for them. These projects included for example renewal of the strategy, deciding themes for upcoming municipal elections and rewarding volunteers. In fall I renewed the process for deciding the plan of action for the next year. Aalto University Student Union has a full-time executive board, around 50 employees and tens of volunteers serving the 15000 members. The annual budget is 15M€ and it holds 150M€ in assets and 2500 apartments. AYY does advocacy in university, municipality and national level and has plenty of services for its members.

The board of Aalto university student union (AYY) works full time and is responsible for operative decisions. My responsibilities were international affairs, work life affairs and trilingualism.Aalto University Student Union has a full-time executive board, around 50 employees and tens of volunteers serving the 15000 members. The annual budget is 15M€ and it holds 150M€ in assets and 2500 apartments. AYY does advocacy in university, municipality and national level and has plenty of services for its members.

I developed a SQL database with web user interface. The system stored and analysed technical data received from the field. The main tools used were PostgreSQL and Web2py. In addition I did some data analysis with Excel. I learned how to build software in practice and gained a lot of experience in programming with python. Philips Healthcare is a global healthcare technology company. MR Therapy located in Finland develops mainly MRI guided treatment devices.

The work included teaching at exercise sessions and grading exercises and exams. Teaching was done in small groups (from 10-60 people) and it included both blackboard and computer exercises. I learned the topics thoroughly and gained confidence in teaching and public speaking. I have been teaching at courses:-Applied probability B (autumn 2012, spring 2013) -Introduction to optimization (spring 2013)

I was working as a research assistant and writing by bachelors thesis in the group of Complex Networks in Aalto University. The title of my thesis is Anatomical connectivity networks of the human brain. I analysed and compared connection graphs created from two kinds of brain imaging data, DTI and fMRI. The main tool for analyzing was python. I learned about network analysis and scientific research.

NAI premises is a real estate company. My responsibility as a marketing assistant was to update database of available premises. I got good feedback on being accurate and hard-working.
