The aim of the Finnish Institute in Stockholm is to promote knowledge of Finnish culture and society in Sweden, to support the culture of Sweden’s Finnish minority and to facilitate cultural exchange between the countries. My responsibilities include producing and coordinating cultural activities with the focus on film, music and touring.

Resource Centre for Literature promotes literature as an artform, supports authorship and the publication of literature in the county of Norrbotten. A special focus area is literature in national minority languages. My work consisted of consulting aspiring writers and various professionals in the field of literature, as well as project management and communications. www.resurscentrumforlitteratur.se

I worked as a freelance producer/coordinator in various projects including festival production, film pedagogy and in organising lectures and further education events for artists.

I was coordinating audience outreach projects targeted for children aged 0 to 16. The projects took place at the Opera House and in schools in the capital region as well as elsewhere in Finland. I was also responsible for coorinating the communications of Audience Outreach Department.

I was coordinating the Sounds of Energy -project, a collaboration between Fortum and Savonlinna Opera Festival.

Osaattori was a joint project by the cities of Helsinki, Lahti, Turku and Jyväskylä. The aim of the project was to enhance artists' employment and bring art and culture to older people. The four cities organized training for local artists and creative industry representatives to encourage their involvement in elderly care. Best practices and experiences were shared between the partnering cities to further develop cultural services for older people. I designed and managed cultural services for the elderly. The most visible part of my work was to produce "Art Pharmacy", a concept that brings together local artists and older people in care institutions.Art Pharmacy offers art and culture for the elderly and provides work for local artists. Since 2009, the City of Jyväskylä has included Art Pharmacy as a permanent part its free-of-charge cultural programme for elderly people. The programme is financed by the City of Jyväskylä Cultural Services and Social and Health Services.
