I have had a highly successful career in senior global leadership positions in some of the world’s largest tech companies. I am now building a portfolio of non-executive positions helping companies develop their vision, strategy, organizational structure and helping them to build winning teams. I am actively looking for non-executive positions.At present I am a non-executive Director on the board of Xccelerate Global Holdings Ltd and I am a member of the Advisory Board ofNest.vc.I have almost 30 years of IT business experience, accumulated in both developed and emerging markets. I have experience in managing high growth, turnaround and M&A scenarios, building a global brand and have a proven track record of achieving profitable growth through effective team leadership in a global, multi-cultural environment. I have also frequently been the public speaker for my companies and been featured in media in both Mature and Emerging markets.I was an SVP at CA Technologies and Lenovo Group, and I was a VP at IBM. At Lenovo, as a member of the Executive Committee, I held various roles including SVP and President of Asia Pacific and Latin America, SVP and President of Europe Middle East and Africa and SVP for the Mature Markets division, based in Paris. This role covered North America, Western Europe, Japan and Australia. In this capacity I contributed to Lenovo becoming the world’s largest PC company. During my tenure at Lenovo, I was responsible for several large acquisitions such as Medion in Germany, NEC in Japan and CCE in Brazil. I have also served as a member of the Supervisory Board at Medion AG. Before joining Lenovo, I spent 16 years with IBM where I acted in several executive sales positions, including Vice President for Tivoli Systems for EMEA. Prior to IBM, I was employed by Accenture and held positions in London and Amsterdam.I hold a Masters in Business Administration from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and am currently based in the UK.
