I'm a marketing communications professional from Helsinki, originally Keuruu. I love to plan and create content that is relevant and truly speaks to its audience. I like to create content using text and photos/video using the right channel(s), be that website, e-mail and/or social media.I joined Facebook in 2008 and Instagram in 2010. While studying in 2012, I saw that companies went to social media as well, and that this is what I want to do at my future job and that I had to figure out how to get there.I started to work (volunteer) with social media in 2015 when I joined ESN Uni Helsinki as Communications Manager right after my own exchange year in Prague. I used Instagram and Facebook to create events for exchange students at the University of Helsinki. We managed to raise their Instagram followers from 150 to 1000 in two years.In 2016 I worked for the first time in Communications and PR as a Trainee in Nissan. I learnt a lot about press releases, localization, distribution and analysis as well as maintaining relations to the journalists by handing them cars.Later I got to write and create myself. In a MarCom agency Miltton in 2018 I did a lot of writing; social media posts, press releases, flyers, event invitations, brochures for customers in multiple fields.For the past years I have acted as a one-woman marketing department. I plan, execute and analyse all marketing activities. I have replaced my missing marketing team by collaborating with my colleagues, and I think this works quite well.For every company my advise is that it is better to do marketing than not do it at all. And even better, if you can do it well.
