I have always loved games ever since I was little. Every aspect of games from it's art, story and mechanics, I could help but want to make a game myself. I did art in high school, but I started taking computer science classes at Brigham Young University(BYU), starting out as a Computer Science student. After sometime in school and dealing with personal challenges, I decided switch to the Art and Technology Major this year (Fall 2023) with a minor in Computer Science.During my time at BYU so far, I have been able to learn many languages and principles or art and programming, but most importantly, I have been able to apply these skills to my own personal projects.I have made a couple of smaller projects so far, "Saint-Survival" a game that I made for one of my religious classes, and "Wrong Box", a game I made based on a challenge to create a game within a few weeks based on a small comic I have made. Making both games taught me how game design works and how to build games from scratch based using my art and programming knowledge. Both games can be found on my Github and are in the process of being reworked in Godot.I hope to create really good games that bring storytelling and game design together in an impactful way to enhance the stories games can tell.
