π I'm a student at Ulster University, on a mission to learn and grow. Hailing from a small village in The North of Ireland, I've always been determined to carve my own path, push myself, and get the most out of life.π«Έ Throughout my academic journey, I've consistently pushed myself to excel. Being chosen as Deputy Head Boy at Drumglass High School & Integrated College Dungannon was a turning point. It taught me the importance of leadership, communication, and teamwork.βοΈ From there, I kept advancing. As the Student Representative for Ulster University's Global Business & Enterprise School and the UUSU Course Representative for BSc (Hons) Business with Education, I've made a difference by advocating for my fellow students. I am currently completing my Enterprise Placement Year (EPY), focusing fully on my business.π Beyond campus, I've launched my own Digital Marketing & Web Design business, which was honored as Ulster's "Best Social Media Management & Web Design Company" in 2023. This recognition was followed by the prestigious Ulster University's Enterprise Bursary (Supported by Santander Universities). I have also gained valuable educational experiences at the University of Minnesota Duluth, serving as a Group Lead on an Intercultural Communication Program. In this role, I taught and mentored many students, preparing them for their final projects based on Intercultural Learning and inspirational teaching practices. This included guiding students in designing and making short films on topics meaningful to them.π² My ultimate goal is to specialize in Education, Entrepreneurship & Intercultural Communication. I'm passionate about creating learning opportunities for others and believe my experience and skills make me a great fit for this field. Going forward, I hope to continue my academic studies while managing my multi-award-winning digital marketing & web design agency. I am currently collaborating with various connections to create communication and culture programs around the globe, focusing on intercultural communication and storytelling.π In a nutshell, my journey has taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and making a positive impact. I'm thrilled about the opportunities ahead and can't wait to use my skills and education to create a brighter future for myself and those around me. π
