Responsible for coordinating and collaborating on ProCare contracts functions at Stryker and interacting with customers, as well as the Legal, Technical Support, Sales, Marketing, Management, and Senior Leadership teams. Under the supervision of Dr. A.M. Viens, I am provided experience in the areas of quality improvement, project management, and mixed methods research while I am developing a curricular evaluation tool to examine each course in the School of Global Health at York University. My main task is to establish a system and processes to conduct a comprehensive review of curricula to examine and identify systemic biases within courses and the program as a whole. The School of Global Health at York University seeks to identify, catalogue, categorize, evaluate, and analyze equity, diversity, inclusion, and decolonization efforts in global health. The project will help to determine best practices, policy options, and new initiatives to support global health educational efforts to incorporate these principles into the YSGH.

Successfully led a team of volunteers using project management and organizational skills to plan fundraising events to address the educational inequalities faced by the lower-class population in the city of Brantford. Our team wrote and received a $5000 grant for the Pregnancy and Resource Centre that went towards the funding of a program that addressed the social, cultural, political, and economic disparities faced by the Indigenous community that predominantly accessed the centre. While working at the centre I conducted research that addressed the adversities faced by the populations who access the centre every week. Research topics include health disparity, health equity, and our team implemented classes to educate attendees to address these issues. I also worked to rebranded the centres social media presence and redesigned their website.

As a barista and server at Symposium Cafe, I worked flexibly and successfully in a fast-paced environment where I established strong positive relationships with restaurant managers, staff, and customers. Through the effective use of verbal communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills I was able to successfully complete all tasks efficiently. As a highly organized worker, I was able to analyze data, such as customer counts, to report recommendations to store franchisees.

As a merchandiser at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club I had a thorough knowledge of all products and services. I efficiently provided exemplary service in response to customer enquiries and concerns. Through my work I ensured the development and execution of strategies to optimize promotional structure of the enterprise, pricing, and inventory guidelines.
