• Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state and local legislation and codes governing environmental health and safety and develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance.• Manages industrial hygiene, occupational and general safety programs to ensure a safe environment and comply with safety standards. • Conducts monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, AEDs, eye wash stations and first aid cabinets.• Coordinates with Learning & Development Leader safety orientations and required safety training.• Conducts on-site reviews and audits of operations and facilities. • Investigates and evaluates new safety equipment for appropriateness. • Responds and provides assistance to all emergency situations. • Investigates and completes all required documents for incidents, first aids and near misses.• Maintains all workers’ compensation claims and filings as needed.• Develops and implements accident investigation, data analysis, and recurrence prevention programs and procedures. • Participates in year-end authoring of policy deployment and construction of the facility budget.• Attend weekly manager’s meeting and provide a weekly project update to the Director of Operations.• Conduct pre and post risk assessments on all TPM activities.• Reviews registrations and documents for regulatory and company safety compliance. • Represents company at monthly safety council meetings.• Works with Production Managers to identify and solve production issues in manufacturing processes.• Audits all processes; develops and maintains a formal auditing process for all Standard Work.• Develops and writes Operator and process Standard Work for existing and new products, processes, and changes to existing processes.• Participates in site Kaizen/TPM/Continuous Improvement events.• Develops product & process designs that require the least time, material and capital resources.

Perform patient assessments, provide advanced triage treatment to patients who are in life threatening distress, perform heart monitor application and rhythm interpretation, provide intravenous therapy, specimen collection (blood), and perform wound care, splinting, and irrigation.Participate in the exchange of information between off-going and on-coming shifts, and operate a multitude of medical devices and equipment appropriate for field use as approved by the department and treatment protocols.Check all personal gear, assigned vehicles, equipment and tools to ensure safe and effective operation.
