Project: Gmail and Hotmail decoders (C implementation for JSON Parser, MySQL, wireshark)Description: It captures packets from mirror mode, then Gmail-Decoder and Hotmail-Decoder will playback the mail content and attachments when different users send or read mail from Web.Responsibility: To analyze Gmail and Hotmail protocol’s behavior of different operations. I also implement a customized JSON parser in C to parse the exchanged data for parsing Gmail JSON data structure and I design first-cache mapping attachments for images which are cached by browser.

Project: RetiVista and RetiSensor products (C, MySQL, wireshark, SIP, SMTP/POP3,IMAP, MSN/ICQ)Description: The RetiVista framework includes a thee-tier deployment of RetiSensor, RetiVista, and a management console. The RetiVista audits network activities and application contents by analyzing packets captured by RetiSensors. The RetiSensor captures packets and connects to one or more RetiVista platforms, ensuring no packet loss during a failover or when processing huge amount of data. Not only does it provide comprehensive reports, the RetiVista also supports the advanced applications playback function and network forensic tools to track down what had happened and who might be responsible for the incident.Responsibility: To implement packet sniffer module of RetiSensor, it supports first match filter rules like firewall. To implement session tracing module for recording connections and decoder modules of RetiVista. To implement VoIP over SIP decoder for playback voice content.I implement these different decoders and finish a RetiDecoder framework to help team to easily implement new decoder in the future. To implement pcap exporter for auditing and netflow modules for IDS
