I am the Director of The Iris Project, a youth-led organisation empowering young people to protect and restore nature. I believe that with the right resources and trust-based support, young people have the power to drive meaningful environmental change.In 2022, I launched The Iris Project and established The Iris Prize, a global, annual award program recognising and supporting impactful youth-led initiatives in the biodiversity and nature sectors through funding, mentorship, and capacity-building. Despite challenges in funding for youth-led projects, I am committed to showcasing the incredible work of our grantees and advocating for increased investment in young leaders.With over six years of experience in the environmental sector, I began my career by founding Blue Dot Generation, an arts-based educational platform raising awareness about ocean pollution. This led me to work with Project Everyone's education team, World’s Largest Lesson, where I helped develop educational tools around the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).As a trained Art Psychotherapist, I bring a unique and creative approach to my leadership in environmental advocacy, combining my passion for nature, well-being and mental health to create holistic change.
