I am responsible for all communication and social media matters, including producing blogs, producing news and press releases, creating graphics, managing Twitter, producing and editing video for YouTube, organising events, and carrying out interviews. A large part of my role was also related to our rebrand from the Standing Committee for Youth Justice to the Alliance for Youth Justice, where I was responsible for planning and rethinking our approach in how we communicate our work, alongside working with an external web designer to build a new website to increase engagement and accessibility.

I assisted the CEO of the national disability charity, The Accessful Foundation, on their pre-launch and launch period. Supported and provided advice on engagement techniques and charity guidelines, style, and communications.

I was responsible for the creation and dissemination of flyers and programmes into the community for the Black Men for Change collaboration which seeks to raise awareness for the support available for black boys in London.

I assisted the execution of the social media strategy for Disrupt Space, a newly established Black visual arts agency, to be implemented during the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. I was responsible for publishing content on Instagram and YouTube which engaged and connected our audience to our current artists, and which also inspired future artists. I worked alongside our artists to plan and produce weekly ‘Artist Takeovers’ to help promote their work.

I helped to connect, support, and advance the progression of young, Black visual artists part of Disrupt Space, a newly established Black visual arts agency, by cutting through cultural bias and the layers of bureaucracy found in the arts sector. I supported the planning, preparation, and facilitation of the organisations launching exhibition.

I wrote and edited arts and culture articles aimed at the progressive youth on subjects ranging from identity to female empowerment. I also negotiated and executed interviews with upcoming musicians and covered cultural events.'Racial Imposter Syndrome: Finding 'Mixed Race' Belonging Through 'Fake' Racial Identity' - In this popular article I aimed to ease the pressure and confusion surrounding identity often found within the 'mixed race' experience. I received overwhelmingly positive global feedback from those who deeply resonated with the article.
